I've joined several gyms over the years and never lasted more than six months at attending regularly. You can get quite bored doing the same workout every week. Since joining The TOUGH Spot I don't think I've ever done the same workout twice, it's always changing and it always keeps you guessing. That's why I keep coming back week after week.

The trainers are all great. It's a nice change to have trainers that aren't checking themselves out every 5 minutes!

I've been a regular goer to a standard commercial gym for many years now and considered my self to be in reasonable shape, however I reached a point where I felt was stagnating and perhaps in rut. I found this place by accident and my imagination was immediately captured by their philosophy and approach to workouts - in particular 'Caveman' training. This has tested me to the core and pushed me past what I ever thought was possible both physically and mentally. Their 'old school' approach is both brutal and primal at heart - however the incredible rush, satisfaction, and ultimately, results you get will keep you coming back for more. I LOVE IT!!!

You know, 1 thing I have noticed about 'The Tough Spot' that most other training facility's are missing, is the atmosphere of feeling a part of something. Your gym makes anyone feel a part of it, like a family so to speak. That alone will draw people in let alone the great programs you have running there. :-)

I just wanted to thank you and Taco for making the Tough Spot a great place with a great philosophy, not to mention a real positive and friendly vibe.

Having 5 PT sessions with Alex and 1 with Manny yesterday taught me more about myself than I had anticipated. My original idea of getting fitter was fulfilled but I have to say I got so much more from the mental training than I have ever imagined. It has flowed through to my dance classes my work and everything else that I do.

Alex is a great trainer and both him and Manny motivate me in different ways. I am looking forward to next PT already, always with a bit of nervousness about what might be chucked at me this time but in a good way!

When I first joined The TOUGH Spot in late July 2011, I was 25 kg overweight with high cholestorol, a history of depression and unable to control my epilepsy. No amount of medication would help me - being unhealthy and unfit meant that my seizures were frequent and high risk. Two months later I have lost 10kg, my cholestorol levels have halved and I am seizure free.

The best thing about The TOUGH Spot is that I'm never bored. I have the personality type to drop things when I lose motivation, but the trainers don't let that happen. They change the workouts every week and even though they can be hard, it's the most supportive gym environment I've ever been in. I've made friends and accomplished new goals. It has changed my life and I can't wait to continue the journey with The TOUGH Spot.
