Boxing for Fitness
Our Boxing for Fitness classes are exactly that, boxing for fitness, not to knock someone out, although you can certainly imagine you're knocking someone out if you had a bad day at work (don't forget to check this out), you let it all out at The TOUGH Spot. The classes are always different and can involve things like boxing bags, pads, shields, punching combinations, Ring of Fire, squats, push ups and much more to keep it fresh and entertaining.
We rarely include kicking in the boxing classes, so, if you want to use all your limbs in the class, why not try our Muay Thai for Fitness classes?
The TOUGH Spot has some very attractive memberships available for Boxing for Fitness group fitness, starting as low as $22.50 a week for unlimited classes. Just click here to enquire today!

Boxing for Technique
In all our boxing classes the focus is on fitness, but this class focusses a bit more on boxing technique, your stance, your punch, jab, cross, hook, upper cut etc. It's a great class for beginners or those who want to get better at their technique. Although the focus is on technique, this class is still a very hard workout like you would expect from any class at The TOUGH Spot gym.
Boxing classes are for all fitness levels, intermediate and advanced, you work in a very competitive but encouraging environment, the workouts bring all participants closer together as each individual goes through the same grueling workout.

We cater for beginners in our boxing for fitness sessions, you will be guided with form and technique, how to punch, how to position your body for maximum impact etc. A large percentage of our clientele started at a beginners level so they know how you feel and they will welcome you as part of the workout team! Should you feel a little uneasy about jumping in with no experience, then we recommend a one on one boxing session with one of our trainers before joining a group session.
Below are some videos of some one on one technique.
